Parking & Athletic Facility Initiative

Parking & Athletic Facility Initiative

Thank you to all of our generous donors for your support of the Parking and Athletic Facility Initiative. Through your generosity, St. Dominic High School has been able to continue to grow and adapt to meet the needs of our students and our families.

Phase I - Parking Lost Expansion (Complete)

St. Dominic successfully completed our renovation and expansion of the Crusader Stadium parking lot before the start of the school year in August 2024. Additional stadium restrooms more than doubled the capacity of our previous restrooms, and a new stadium entrance with stone columns and iron rod fencing was completed in time for our football home opener.

Phase II - Baseball-Softball Stadium Improvements (In Progress)

Construction is currently underway as we work to transform our previous field into a state-of-the-art Baseball-Softball Stadium, home to the Coach Ochsner Field. A new digital scoreboard was installed in late spring 2024, and was used as baseball finished out the 2024 season. During the fall of 2024, stadium lights were installed in time for us to host our first ever night softball games. Immediately following the end of softball season in early October, we began renovations to convert the existing natural surface to an all-weather turf field.

Stadium renovations also include:

New dugouts and backstop netting
Press box, & sound system to accompany digital scoreboard
Bullpens and batting cages
Stadium seating for spectators

Phase II construction is scheduled to be completed during Spring 2025.
