Retreats

All freshmen participate in a one-day retreat on the St. Dominic campus. Students get to know their classmates better through team-building activities and explore the deeper meaning of the Four Pillars of St. Dominic: prayer, study, community and service.

All sophomores participate in a one-day, off-campus retreat featuring music, witnessing, activities, discussion and prayer.

All juniors attend the three-day, student-led Kairos retreat, an off-campus retreat that is a highlight of many students’ time at St. Dominic. Kairos, meaning “God’s time,” is an opportunity for students to take time away from their day-to-day lives to explore their relationship with God and others.

All seniors attend an off-campus overnight retreat, seniors have the opportunity to look back on their growth throughout high school. Students also contemplate future plans and ways to integrate faith in their lives as young adults.
