Congratulations to Clayton Meyer, St. Dominic High School's 2019 recipient of the Archbishop May Service Award. The Archdiocese of Saint Louis recognized Clayton and his fellow honorees at the Cardinal Rigali Center on April 17.
"Service is a great way to give back to the community," Meyer said. "It's a great use of the talents gave us to serve others."
Meyer far exceeded St. Dominic's service requirement, volunteering hundreds of hours with Special Olympics and Camp Wonderland, a camp at the Lake of the Ozarks for kids and adults with disabilities.
"Clayton is very humble about the service he does," said campus minister Shelley Lang, who coordinates St. Dominic's Christian Service Program. "But get him talking about his relationship with the individuals he has worked with and his whole face lights up. He has made some great relationships with his service."
