MARCH 12 - Girls Basketball in Third Place Game
The girls lost a heartbreaker this afternoon to Cape Notre Dame and will be playing in the Class 4 Third Place game Saturday, March 13 at 11:30. The girls had the lead for most of the game, but Cape Notre Dame waged a valiant comeback and narrowly won the game. Congratulations to our young ladies. Penny Wars - March 10 - 19
The St. Dominic students and staff begin our second Pennies for Peace activities on Wednesday, March 10. Our Shalom Club will present a prayer service recognizing Women's Rights. This will lead us into Pennies for Peace, an international organization which funds schools for girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
From March 10 - March 19, money will be collected as the students and staff enjoy class competitions and games -- Penny Wars. The games include tournaments of dodge ball, volleyball and ultimate frisbee. The events are culminated during our annual Spring Pep Assembly when the student winners take on the staff in a dodge ball match. Last year, the events raised almost $4,500 with the proceeds donated to Pennies for Peace and for financial assistance for our own students in need.

Our First Middle School Trivia Night
On Friday, March 12th, from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, we will be hosting our first Middle School Trivia Night. This is a "lock-in" event for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. For $10 per person, and up to 8 students per table, there will be Pizza, Soda, Water and lots of brain teasing fun. Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams.
