June 9, 2010
Gym Floor
1. Waiting on humidity to adjust before paint lines
2. Start painting lines, lettering, logos – 5 days
3. Two coats of oil base finish – 2 days
Other
1. All of frames walls are up in lobby no drywall just studs
2. Installing electric in lobby wall areas
3. Also drywall covered walkway
4. Continue scrubbing on locker room conversion and old gym
5. Concrete curbs being installed gym area
6. New parking lot lighting being installed now
A number of years ago, I shared with people an African reflection about “Changing the Face of the Mountain”.
Progress is being made as we write this. We are so very grateful to the energetic and focused students, coaches, parents, alumni, who volunteered for our bleacher/locker tear out, cleaning and painting. The work was accomplished in 4 days - June 1st through 4th. That is awesome - what a difference!
We will still need help from July 19th through 30th to clean and move into the new building. Tasks and skills needed are in the Newsletter and posted on-line.
