CONGRATULATIONS! The following are winners of the St Dominic Dinner Auction 300-Club Early Bird Drawing: Mrs. Meriwether (St Dominic science teacher). Ellie Martin (grandmother of Amelia Martin).
Both winners will receive $150, and their tickets will be eligible for the drawings on auction night.

MAGAZINE DRIVE continues next week. Although sales were not what we hoped for we know things will go better this week-end. We did have three Secret Student winners-Jade Kelly, Rosie Bross, and Jimmy Cross. Congrats to these 3. Maybe your name is in the envelope for Tuesday-you never know. Let's get those orders in-we all want a free day on the 1st of December!!!

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: We will begin having Eucharistic Adoration on this Friday. We will have it every First Friday during the school year. Please sign up on the board outside of chapel. There can be more than one person in each time slot. We must have someone in chapel the entire time. Can you find 20 minutes of your day to spend with Jesus Christ?

OPENING SCHOOL MASS – On Wednesday, September 8th, we will celebrate our Opening School Mass at 8:30 a.m. in the new gym. Dress for this mass is dress code or better. If you choose to dress up boys may wear any dress shirt with a collar. Shirts must be tucked in. Girls may wear dress pants, skirts or dresses. Capris or leggings may not be worn. All tops must have sleeves and be modest and appropriate for mass. Skirts and dresses may not be more than 3’’ above the knee.

FALL PLAY: All those interested in being in the fall play stage crew, please meet in room 521 at 8:15am.

POLO ORDER: The fall order for Polo shirts is due with payment by Friday, September 3. Order forms are available in the office. This will be the only order this semester.

PURE FASHION is a faith-based leadership and professional modeling program for teen girls ages 14 – 18. Events and training begin in September and culminate with a fashion show in April. Many of our girls have gone through the program and have been very happy with the training they have received. If you are interested in learning more, please pick up the information in the office.

SUMMER STUDENT ACTIVITIES: TODAY – Library . Be there to share info on your summer activities: You bring a pen; we give paper. Evan Merz, Austin Kiel. SENIORS – The designs for the senior sweatshirt are due to Mrs. Caldwell by 3:00 p.m. on Friday September 3rd.

FRESHMEN – Reminder to Freshmen wanting to run for Student Council - All applications are due to Ms. Sullivan or Mr. Kuebler by this Friday at noon.

CLUB MEETINGS/INFORMATION FOR TODAY:
FBLA - Future Business Leaders of America will have the first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 9 during homeroom in the cafeteria. If you are interested in business, please join us as we begin this year's activities and competitions. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Felty.
PEP INFUSION MEMBERS please sign up for homecoming committees by Friday, 9/3. Sign-up sheets are located in Mrs. Jansen’s office in the guidance center.
PRO-LIFE: We are going to have our first Pro-Life Club meeting on September 7th at 8:15 in the Library.

SPORTS CORNER:
The Lady Crusaders handed Holt their first loss of the season yesterday with a 2-1 victory. Sound defense and timely hitting led the way to the team's third win in a row.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS
A huge thanks to the many Moms and DADS that helped yesterday with the Magazine Drive tabulations. We appreciate all of your help-you have no idea how much it means to us. We couldn't do many things around here without you!!!

Parents-we are still in need of parents to come in and help with the magazine drive. Your help is needed on the mornings of 9/7, 9/9, and/or 9/14. If you could give up a couple of hours from 8:15-? on these days to help tabulate the results of the magazine drive, please email Mary Fridley at mfridley@stdominichs.org or call school.
