Supporting St. Dominic High School
Since tuition only partially covers regular operating expenses, annual fundraising is vital to providing much-needed supplemental revenue. Funds raised from the Annual Crusade appeal and the annual Evening of the Crusader dinner auction make a strong impact on the operational budget of the school. Gifts from events sponsored by the St. Dominic Athletic Association and the Performing Arts Lovers (PALS) including the annual Crusader Golf Classic and Trivia Night provide funds to enhance academics, athletics, performing arts, and the physical plant. Such contributions help bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and the cost of a St. Dominic High School education, keeping tuition affordable for all students.
Memorial & Tribute Gifts
Memorial and tribute gifts support annual giving. They are a wonderful way of honoring a friend or loved one.
Gifts to the Endowment
A gift to the endowment helps ensure the continuing availability of affordable Catholic secondary education at St. Dominic High School. All monies contributed to the endowment are restricted to scholarship assistance and continuing education for faculty.
For a number of years, St. Dominic High School's advancement activities focused on the immediate capital needs of the school. Phases I, II, and III of the Crusade for the Future capital campaign were successful. The entire St. Dominic community is currently enjoying the fruits of the past capital campaign.
Through planned giving, friends of St. Dominic High School may leave a testamentary gift to the school in their will or estate plan. Membership in the Dominican Society is offered to all who have decided to include St. Dominic High School in their estate planning or have made any kind of deferred gift to the school. The only requirement for membership is to make it known to the school that a provision for a gift has been made.
