A student wishing to participate in the athletic program must meet eligibility standards that include academics and behavior. In addition, all athletes, cheerleaders, and pommers must have a physical examination each year of participation.

Physical exams must occur after February 1, 2009 to be valid for the 2009-2010 seasons. The insurance and release statements on the form must also be completed before participation.

ST. Dominic High School belongs to the Missouri State High School Activities Association. SDHS competes in the Archdiocesan Athletic Association Conference in all sports.  

  MSHSAA promotes the value of participation, sportsmanship, team play, and personal excellence to develop citizens who make positive contributions to their community and support the democratic principles of our state and nation.

Adult Support Organizations

 

Parents, alumni, and other adults support St. Dominic High School through several organizations: the Advisory Board, the Parents' Association, St. Dominic Athletic Association, Endowment Board, and the Assumption St. Dominic Alumni Associa­tion. They also provide countless hours of volunteer help for many activities.

 

Annual Fundraisers

 

The Magazine Drive and Golf Tournament in the fall, Cornucopia Dinner Auction in October, and Trivia Night in the spring are the major fundraisers. Students are the main participants in the Magazine Drive while parents and friends sponsor the other events.
