Dempsey Named SDHS Assistant Principal

St. Dominic High School has named Brad Dempsey as assistant principal for curriculum and instruction, beginning with the 2018-19 school year.

Dempsey, who has served in Catholic and public schools at all grade levels, has a bachelor’s degree from Hannibal-LaGrange University and a Master of Education from William Woods University. He most recently served on the administration team at Helias Catholic High School.

"My family and I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to become a part of the St. Dominic family,” Dempsey said. “I am thankful to all of those who have put their trust in me by selecting me to serve in this role. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of the students, the staff and their families. My wife, Gala, and I ask that you keep our family in your prayers as we transition to the O'Fallon area."

“Brad adds a ton of energy, drive and vision to our school community,” said Jim Welby, St. Dominic president. “His ability to connect with our faculty and staff was one of the driving forces behind the decision to hire him.”
